CytoSorbents — CytoSorb® Hemoadsorption

CytoSorb® is a sterile, single-use hemoadsorption cartridge filled with proprietary biocompatible polymer beads (45,000 m² adsorption surface) that remove mid-size hydrophobic molecules up to ~55 kDa — including bilirubin, myoglobin, the P2Y12 inhibitor ticagrelor and rivaroxaban. It installs into any extracorporeal blood circuit: cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), ECMO/ECLS, hemoperfusion, intermittent hemodialysis and CRRT. CE-marked (0344 DEKRA, ISO 13485), extracorporeal blood volume 150 ml, blood flow 100–700 ml/min, priming with 2 L saline in about 5 minutes, up to 24 hours per adsorber, heparin or citrate anticoagulation, usable in HIT II patients, latex- and phthalate-free, gamma sterilised with 3-year shelf life.
